Obverse description A coiled serpent with a zoomorphic head, interpreted as either a bull or ram, rendered in the schematised Celtic artistic tradition. The creature's body spirals inward toward the centre of the flan, with the head visible at the coil's terminus. The design fills the irregularly shaped flan in a bold, abstract manner characteristic of late Iron Age British coinage. The field is plain, with no inscription or additional ornamental devices.
