| Obverse description | Central inscription panel within a raised linear border, bearing the legend CAM in large letters, with the letter V positioned above the panel and an additional letter below, referencing the mint name Camulodunum. The whole design is enclosed within a beaded outer border following the irregular flan edge. Radial lines or spokes flank the central panel, creating a wheel-like decorative framework typical of Late Celtic British coinage. The overall composition reflects the standardised epigraphic style adopted by Cunobelin for his silver unit series. |
