| Reverse description | Highly stylised Celtic horse depicted facing left, distinguished by three annulate tails rendered as decorative ring-chain motifs, a hallmark feature of this type. A floral or rosette motif occupies the area beneath the horse, while the fragmentary and almost entirely disintegrated remnant of a stylised bird's head appears above, consistent with the progressive degeneration of the design observed across the Dobunnic series. The fields surrounding the horse are filled with abstract geometric ornaments characteristic of late Iron Age Celtic engraving conventions. |
