Reverse description A stylised horse in right profile occupies the central field, rendered in the schematic Celtic manner with disjointed, abstracted body elements typical of British Iron Age coinage. The horse is surrounded by a scattered arrangement of pellets and annulets in the field. A large ringed solar disc or annulet motif appears prominently above the horse, echoing the obverse decorative programme. Below the horse, further pellet groupings and abstract symbols fill the exergual area, consistent with the Corieltauvian B series as catalogued by Van Arsdell and Spink.
