| Obverse description | Stylised helmeted head facing left, rendered in the characteristic abstract Celtic idiom. A sinuous wiggly line extends before the face, accompanied by a series of small annulets distributed across the field. The die-work exhibits the fluid, curvilinear artistry typical of Late Iron Age British coinage, with the helmet form suggested by bold raised lines rather than naturalistic detail. The flan is irregular and lightly struck, consistent with hand-hammered production of the period. |
