| Obverse description | Bearded head of Hercules in right profile, depicted wearing the Nemean lion's skin as a headdress, the scalp and jaws of the lion clearly rendered over the crown of the head. The legend EPATI appears in the left field before the portrait, rendered in Latin characters. The style reflects strong Roman iconographic influence typical of late British Iron Age coinage under Epaticcus. |
