Obverse description Highly stylised Celtic head facing right, rendered in the characteristically abstract Late Iron Age artistic tradition associated with the Danebury Moon Head type. The facial features are dissolved into a series of raised pellets, flowing curvilinear lines, and comma-shaped locks, suggesting hair or a laureate wreath in a deeply abstracted manner. A prominent curved element, likely representing the neck or jaw, sweeps across the lower field, while pellet-and-arc motifs fill the surrounding space. The flan is irregular and slightly convex, consistent with the small hammered silver-plated bronze units of the Atrebatic series. No legend or inscription is present, as is typical for this pre-Roman British coinage.
