Obverse description Facing bull's head rendered in schematic Celtic style, depicted frontally with prominent horns curving outward to either side and a rounded muzzle occupying the lower centre of the flan. A single pellet or annulet appears above the head. The entire design is enclosed within a border of pellets arranged in an arc along the lower portion of the flan, with additional scattered pellets flanking the head in the field. The engraving is bold and stylised, characteristic of late Iron Age Celtic coinage of the Atrebates.
