Reverse description Plain, flat incuse surface with no intentional design, typical of early Etruscan hammered coinage from Populonia. The reverse shows the characteristic rough, striated texture resulting from the anvil die used during striking, with an irregular raised rim following the outline of the flan. This featureless reverse is consistent with the earliest silver issues of the Turms series from Populonia.
