| Descrizione del dritto | A stylised boar facing left occupies the central field, rendered in the flowing Celtic abstract manner characteristic of Late Iron Age British coinage. Four lyre-shaped ornamental devices are arranged above the boar, each depicted with distinctive curvilinear detail. A small ring or pellet device appears in the lower field beneath the boar. The design fills the flan with bold relief work, the irregular flan edges typical of hand-struck Celtic coinage of this period. No legend or inscription is present, consistent with pre-conquest British tribal coinage. |
