| 表面の説明 | Laureate male head facing right, rendered in competent late Etruscan style with well-defined facial features and flowing hair secured by a laurel wreath. The effigy occupies the central field of the flan, with the surrounding legend arranged in a curved disposition encircling the bust. The inscription reads PVPLANA above and METL below, referencing Populonia and, most likely, the Metl mining authority or magistrate. The die work is bold and shows Hellenistic influence characteristic of Etruscan coinage of the 3rd century BC. |

| 表面の銘文 | PVPLANA - METL (Translation: [Populonia mines?]) |
| 裏面の説明 | Uniface; the reverse is entirely blank, presenting a plain, slightly convex silver surface with no die work, devices, or inscriptions. This uniface technique is a well-documented characteristic of the Populonian silver series, where all artistic and epigraphic information was concentrated on the obverse die alone. The surface retains its original hammered texture with natural flow lines from the striking process. |
