Obverse description Male head facing left, rendered in archaic Etruscan style with elaborate radiate or tufted hair depicted in fine relief. The facial features are boldly modeled with a pronounced jaw and stylized eye. The hair is arranged in a distinctive spreading fan-like pattern around the head, a characteristic feature of the Populonian Male Head series. No legend or inscription appears in the field.
