正面描述 A tricorne motif composed of three convex arcs arranged to form a triangular design, with a single central pellet enclosed within the triangle. The geometric design is rendered in the abstract Celtic tradition, occupying the full flan with no inscription or legend. The surface is devoid of any lettering, consistent with pre-Roman Icenic coinage.

背面描述 A stylised horse prancing to the right, depicted in the characteristic abstracted Celtic artistic style. The animal features bifurcated upper forelegs and a large, open pellet-form head. A pellet mane runs along the neck, while a six-spoked wheel symbol is positioned above the horse's back. A single pellet appears beneath the tail, and a triad of pellets is arranged below the horse in the lower field.

附加信息

The Iceni occupied what is now Norfolk and Suffolk, and by the late first century BC were operating within a sophisticated inter-tribal exchange network rather than a fully monetized economy. These small silver fractions — sometimes called "minims" — were likely used in high-value transactions by weight or count rather than face denomination. The Snettisham and Plouviez die groupings identified by Richard Hobbs and others suggest production at more than one location, possibly reflecting decentralized authority among Iceni subtribes before the consolidation under rulers like Antedios and, later, Prasutagus.
