| Reverse description | Victory personified seated left upon a throne, holding a small Victory statuette set upon a globe in her right hand and a long sceptre in her left, a composition emblematic of Roman imperial triumphalism. The reverse legend VRBS ROMA encircles the field, invoking the eternal city of Rome. The mint mark TRPS appears in the exergue, denoting the fourth officina of the Treveri (Trier) mint. The overall design reflects the standardised siliqua iconography of the Valentinianic period. |
