Reverse description Within a laurel wreath tied at the base with a decorative knot and surmounted by a central pellet, the votive inscription is arranged in three lines: VOTIS / V / MVLTIS, with X below, commemorating Julian's fifth anniversary vows and the anticipation of his tenth. The mint mark TCON appears in the exergue, identifying the Arelate (Arles) mint. The entire composition is enclosed within a beaded border, following the standard late Roman siliqua reverse type.
