| Beschrijving keerzijde | The goddess Victoria, rendered as a winged female figure draped in flowing robes, strides purposefully to the left across a ground line, with one wing prominently displayed behind her. In her raised right hand she holds a wreath, while her left hand carries a palm branch, both traditional symbols of Roman military triumph and imperial victory. The mint mark LVG appears in the exergue, identifying the Lugdunum (modern Lyon) mint. The surrounding Latin legend VICTORIA DD NN AVG — Victoria of Our Two Lords the Augusti — encircles the field, though the abbreviated formula reflects the transitional political context of Julian's sole reign after 361. The die style and flan fabric are consistent with RIC VIII 215 from the Lugdunum mint. |
