| Beschrijving keerzijde | The winged goddess Victory advances to the left in full stride, depicted in flowing robes with outstretched wings visible behind her. In her right hand she holds a wreath extended forward, and in her left hand she carries a long palm branch resting against her shoulder, both attributes emblematic of imperial triumph. The figure is rendered in the crisp, slightly stylized manner typical of late fourth-century Western imperial silver coinage. The encircling Latin legend VICTORIA AVGVSTORVM runs along the beaded rim, and the Aquileian mintmark AQPS appears in the exergue below a ground line. |
