| Descrizione del dritto | Right-facing bust of the emperor Arcadius, pearl-diademed, draped and cuirassed, rendered in the refined late Roman imperial style characteristic of the Theodosian period. The effigy displays carefully articulated facial features with a youthful countenance, the pearl diadem clearly visible above the brow. Drapery folds and cuirass detailing are rendered with precision, the paludamentum fastened at the right shoulder. The circumscribed Latin legend reads D N ARCADI-VS P F AVG, denoting his imperial titles, distributed around the periphery of the flan. |

| Descrizione del rovescio | Four-line votive inscription enclosed within a laurel wreath tied at the base with a large jewel or pellet, the whole serving as a formal declaration of vows for the emperor's quinquennial and decennial celebrations. The legend VOT V MVLT X is arranged in four horizontal lines within the wreath, proclaiming vows fulfilled at five years and multiplied toward ten. The mintmark MDPS appears in the exergue, identifying the emission as struck at the Mediolanum mint, officina Prima Secunda. The wreath border is rendered with fine detail consistent with late fourth-century siliqua production. |
