Reverse description Large eagle's head facing left rendered in high relief within a recessed incuse square, displaying finely granulated feathering on the cheek and a boldly detailed open eye. A prominent crest of radiating feathers rises above the head toward the upper right, and the hooked beak is clearly articulated. In the lower field, a decorative running wave or scroll ornament appears beneath the head, bordered below by a row of pellets; a floral or vegetal symbol occupies the upper left field of the incuse. The Cypriot syllabic legend 𐊕𐊒 (reading 'pa-u', identifying the dynast Pnytos) is associated with this type as recorded in the obverse field.
