| Descripción del anverso |
Bull standing to right on a ground line, rendered in archaic Cypriot style with careful musculature and a mane indicated by incised lines at the neck. A crescent symbol appears above in the upper field. Cypriot syllabic inscription reading 'pa-si-le' (basileus, king) is placed in the upper field, with the syllable 'pa' on the flank of the bull. The overall composition is bold and vigorous, typical of mid-fifth century BC Paphian coinage. |

| Descripción del reverso |
Eagle displayed in flight to left, with wings spread and feathers rendered in fine detail with stippled body plumage; the bird grasps or faces a small frog or lizard in the lower left field. The design is set within a shallow incuse square, characteristic of hammered coinage of this period. Cypriot syllabic signs 'pa' and 'o' appear in the field, denoting the royal name and city abbreviation of the Paphian king Onasioikos. |
