| Beschrijving voorzijde | Facing three-quarter bust of Helios, the solar deity depicted as a youthful, unbearded figure with large almond-shaped eyes, a straight nose, and slightly parted lips. The effigy tilts slightly to the right, the head surrounded by flowing, radiate locks swept outward in multiple directions, evoking divine solar radiance. The portraiture is executed in fine Hellenistic style, with assured, high-relief modelling characteristic of the Knidian mint's accomplished die engravers. The design fills the flan confidently, with no surrounding legend or border. |

| Beschrijving keerzijde | Forepart of a lion advancing to the right, mouth open in a roar and right forepaw raised, rendered with vigorous naturalism in the Hellenistic civic tradition. The ethnic abbreviation ΚΝΙ is placed in the upper field above the lion's back, identifying the issuing city of Knidos. A ship's prow appears as a secondary symbol to the left of the main type. The magistrate's name ΧΡΥΣΑΝΩΡ is inscribed in Greek letters in the lower field, denoting the issuing authority. The entire composition is set within a shallow incuse square, standard for hammered silver issues of this region and period. |

Khrysanor appears as a magistrate name on a small group of Knidian siglos issues, placing this coin within the city's autonomous silver coinage at a time when Knidos navigated shifting allegiances between the waning Ptolemaic sphere and rising Rhodian commercial dominance in the eastern Aegean. Knidos was a major exporter of wine amphoras and operated a prominent sanctuary of Aphrodite — coin production there reflected civic pride as much as economic need.
The Nanteuil reference traces to the collection catalogued by Henri de Nanteuil, whose 1925 sale remains a primary reference point for this magistrate series.
