Obverse description Ram recumbent to left, rendered with finely detailed fleece indicated by rows of pellets across the body. The head is turned slightly, with the curved horn visible above the neck. A dotted border frames the upper portion of the field, and a Cypriot syllabic inscription identifying the king Euantheos appears in the field. The composition is set against a plain, slightly concave flan typical of Archaic Cypriot coinage.
