| Obverse description | Ram advancing to left in profile, rendered in archaic relief with schematic musculature. Superimposed prominently upon the animal's body is an ankh symbol, its loop rising above the ram's back and its crossbar and stem overlying the haunches and legs. The composition occupies a broadly plain, irregular flan typical of early Cypriot hammered coinage. The style reflects the strong Egyptian cultural influence prevalent in Cyprus during the early fifth century BC. |

| Reverse description | A laurel branch oriented vertically, bearing a bud at the apex and a leaf with fruit on each lateral side, rendered in a highly stylised incuse manner. To the left of the branch an anchor is depicted, and to the right an ankh symbol. The entire design is contained within a dotted square border, itself set within a deeper incuse square, a characteristic feature of early Cypriot silver coinage of this period. |
