备注

Siemens Nixdorf Informationssysteme AG produced test notes like this one for internal calibration of currency-handling machinery — ATMs, sorting equipment, counting machines — rather than for any monetary purpose. The merger that created Siemens Nixdorf in 1990 briefly made it one of Europe's largest computer and automation firms, and banknote processing hardware was a significant part of that portfolio.

These pieces were never intended to leave the factory floor. Survivors in collector hands typically arrived through industrial liquidations or employee disposal of obsolete test stock.
