The god is shown bearded and helmeted, wearing a short chiton, with a bow slung over his shoulder and holding the reins in his left hand. The composition is framed by a beaded border and executed in the bold, deeply-cut relief characteristic of Phoenician engraving of the Persian period. |

The composition closely parallels Athenian iconographic conventions but reinterprets them within a Phoenician religious and political context. |
