Obverse description Hammered silver flan bearing a multi-line Arabic legend in bold Naskh script arranged in three registers across the field, divided by a horizontal ruled line. The inscription contains the royal titulature of Babur, including his name and regal epithets. The lettering is deeply struck with characteristic irregular flan edges typical of early Mughal hammered coinage. A regnal year appears incorporated within the legend field to the left. The overall style reflects the Timurid calligraphic tradition carried into early Mughal numismatic practice.
