Beschrijving voorzijde	A scallop shell (pecten) rendered in high relief occupies the entire obverse field, depicted with characteristic radiating ribs fanning outward from the hinge point at the base toward the denticulate upper margin. The casting is robust, with pronounced parallel ridges conveying the natural fluting of the bivalve shell. The irregular flan, typical of early Central Italian aes grave production, provides an uneven border around the central device. No inscription or legend is present. The composition is entirely aniconic, the shell serving as the primary type denoting the issuing authority or denomination.
