Reverse description The reverse field is entirely occupied by a prominent oak wreath (corona civica) encircling a four-line inscription in boldly incised Latin capitals. The wreath, rendered in high relief with finely detailed lobed oak leaves and acorns, is tied at the base and opens at the top, framing the dedicatory legend S P Q R / ADSERTORI / LIBERTATIS / PVBLIC within its interior. The composition is austere and monumental, with no figurative elements, emphasising the honorary and political character of the type. A beaded border is present at the coin's periphery.
