Reverse description The personification of Pax (Peace) stands in the field facing left in a full-length figure rendered in high relief, draped in classical robes. She extends an olive branch forward in her right hand and holds a cornucopiae — symbol of abundance — in her left arm. The senatorial authority mark S C (Senatus Consultum) appears prominently in the lower field on either side of the figure, flanking her feet. The reverse legend PAX AVGVSTI runs along the periphery, associating the Flavian dynasty's rule with the blessings of imperial peace.
