Reverse description Celebrated Judaea Capta type depicting a personification of Judaea, veiled and draped, seated in an attitude of mourning to the right beneath a tall palm tree. Behind the palm tree stands a male captive facing right, his hands bound behind his back. To the left of the captive appears a trophy of arms comprising two round shields, one oval shield, a helmet, and two spears. The senatorial authorisation mark S C (Senatus Consulto) appears in the field, flanking the central composition. The design commemorates the Roman suppression of the Jewish revolt of AD 66–73.
