背面描述	Fortuna, the goddess of fortune, stands facing left in a composed, full-length figure, wearing a long chiton and palla. She holds a leafy branch in her extended right hand and a large cornucopiae in her left arm, symbolising abundance and prosperity. At her feet rests a globe, upon which a rudder is set, alluding to her role as guide of destiny. The senatorial mark of authority, S C (Senatus Consultum), is disposed in the field to either side of the figure. The reverse legend FORTVNAE REDVCI runs around the periphery, celebrating Fortune's safe return.

附加信息	Issued in 72–73 AD, this sestertius belongs to a concentrated run of Vespasianic bronzes struck at Rome during the early consolidation of Flavian power, following the civil wars of 69 AD that had left four emperors dead in under two years. The FORTVNAE REDVCI type — Fortune of the Return — carried direct political weight: it advertised Vespasian's safe return to Rome from the East, where he had been commanding the Judaean campaign before Nero's collapse forced the succession crisis. RIC II.1 373 is a documented variety within the broader Flavian sestertius output, catalogued in the revised RIC volumes that substantially reorganized earlier attributions for this reign.
