| Obverse description | Bare-necked, laureate bust of Vespasian facing right, rendered with characteristic realism and fleshy portraiture typical of Flavian dynastic coinage. The effigy displays a strongly modelled profile with prominent brow, thick neck, and naturalistic facial features. The laurel wreath, symbol of imperial authority and military triumph, is tied at the back with a ribbon. The encircling legend runs along the beaded border of the flan. |

In her right hand she holds a branch and a rudder resting upon a globe, symbolising guidance and mastery over fate, while her left hand holds a cornucopiae, emblematic of abundance and prosperity. The composition reflects standard Flavian iconographic conventions for divine personifications. The legend FORTVNAE REDVCI flanks the figure, and the large S C (Senatus Consultum) appears in the field, confirming senatorial authorisation for the bronze issue. |
