Reverse description The personification of Concordia, goddess of harmony, depicted draped and seated left upon a plain backless chair (sella). In her extended right hand she holds a patera from which she pours a libation over a lighted altar to the left, while her left hand supports a double cornucopiae. The composition conveys the Trajanic theme of civic harmony and imperial abundance. The reverse legend appears in the field divided by the central figure, with the large S C (Senatus Consultum) mark of senatorial authority prominently displayed, as was standard for bronze imperial coinage.
