Obverse description Laureate head of Trajan facing right, rendered in high relief with finely detailed hair and a strong, idealized portrait characteristic of early Trajanic coinage. The emperor's bust is bare or lightly draped at the truncation. A continuous Latin legend encircles the effigy along the border, naming the emperor with his full titulature. The portrait reflects the Trajanic artistic style, combining naturalistic physiognomy with imperial gravitas.
