| Descrizione del dritto | Laureate and draped bust of Emperor Trajan facing right, rendered with fine portraiture characteristic of the high Imperial style; the emperor wears a laurel wreath over closely cropped, naturalistically detailed hair, with the paludamentum fastened at the right shoulder by a circular fibula. The portrait is robust and individualistic, displaying Trajan's characteristic strong jaw and aquiline profile. The encircling legend runs clockwise from the lower left field, giving the emperor's full titulature in incuse Latin capitals. |

| Descrizione del rovescio | Fortuna, draped in flowing garments, seated left upon a low sella with her feet resting on a footstool; she holds in her right hand a long rudder set vertically to the ground, symbolising guidance and providence, and in her left hand a cornucopiae, emblem of abundance. The figure is rendered in the classicising style typical of Trajanic state coinage. The legend is divided around the field, with the senatorial authority mark S C (Senatus Consultum) prominently placed in the lower field, and the abbreviated votive inscription FORT RED identifying the type as Fortuna Redux. |
