Reverse description The personification of Felicitas (Happiness/Prosperity) depicted as a draped female figure standing facing left in a composed, stately pose. She extends her right hand upward, holding a caduceus — the herald's staff entwined with serpents — symbolizing peace and prosperity, while her left arm cradles a cornucopiae (horn of plenty), emblematic of abundance and imperial beneficence. The reverse legend SENATVS POPVLVSQVE ROMANVS is disposed around the field, with the senatorial authorization mark S C (Senatus Consultum) prominently placed in the lower field on either side of the figure. The composition reflects the high artistic quality of the Rome mint under Trajan.
