| Reverse description | Fortuna, draped and standing to the left, holds a rudder resting on the prow of a ship in her extended right hand and a cornucopiae in her left hand, symbolizing prosperity and good fortune under imperial guidance. The figure is rendered in the classical Roman style with flowing drapery falling to the feet. The large senatorial mark of value S C (Senatus Consultum) appears in the exergual field or flanking the figure, authorizing bronze coinage by decree of the Senate. The reverse legend arches around the upper border of the coin. |
