| Obverse description | Laureate bust of Emperor Trajan facing right, with drapery over the left shoulder, rendered in bold high relief characteristic of the Trajanic period. The emperor's strongly modelled facial features display the characteristic square jaw and prominent brow associated with his portraiture.
