Obverse description Laureate bust of Titus facing right, draped at the shoulder, rendered in the bold, high-relief style characteristic of early Flavian imperial coinage. The portrait conveys youthful vigour with finely engraved hair beneath the laurel wreath. The encircling Latin legend reads T CAESAR VESPASIAN IMP IIII PON TR POT II COS II, distributed around the full periphery of the flan. The field is broad and slightly convex, consistent with the orichalcum sestertius fabric of this period.
