| Descrizione del rovescio | Titus standing erect in a four-horse triumphal chariot (quadriga) advancing to the right, holding a laurel branch in his right hand and a long sceptre in his left. The quadriga is depicted with considerable detail, including the spoked wheel visible at left and the four horses shown in vigorous motion. The large senatorial mark of value S·C appears prominently in the lower exergual field, flanking the chariot. The composition celebrates the Flavian triumph over Judaea and conveys imperial power and divine favour. |
