| Obverse description | Laureate bust of Emperor Titus facing left, with short hair rendered in fine strands and a strong, naturalistic portrait typical of Flavian imperial coinage. The emperor is depicted with slight drapery visible at the truncation of the shoulder. The encircling legend is distributed around the periphery of the flan in bold, well-spaced Latin capitals. The portrait displays the characteristic Flavian physiognomy — a broad forehead, prominent nose, and firmly set jaw — executed in high relief consistent with the early Flavian sestertius tradition. |
