| Obverse description | Bare-shouldered laureate bust of the emperor Titus facing right, rendered in high relief with finely detailed laurel wreath bound across the curly hair. The portrait displays the characteristic Flavian physiognomy — a strong jaw, prominent nose, and naturalistic musculature of the neck and chest. The encircling Latin legend runs clockwise from the lower left, naming the emperor with his full titulature. The bold, deeply struck effigy fills the flan in the confident sculptural style typical of early Flavian imperial coinage. |
