| Obverse description | Laureate, draped bust of Titus facing right, rendered with characteristically curled hair and a laurel wreath, the portrait displaying the robust physiognomy typical of Flavian imperial coinage. The bust is shown with paludamentum (military cloak) fastened at the shoulder, conveying imperial and martial authority. The encircling legend runs clockwise around the periphery of the flan in bold, well-spaced Latin capitals. The die-work reflects the refined engraving style of the Rome mint under the Flavian dynasty. |
