(Translation: Titus Caesar Vespasianus Imperator, Pontifex [Maximus], Tribunicia Potestate, Consul Quintum. Titus Caesar Vespasianus, supreme commander (Imperator), [high] priest, holder of tribunician power, consul for the fifth time.)
Reverse description The personification of Fortuna Redux depicted standing facing left in flowing robes, her weight borne on her right leg in a classical contrapposto stance. In her extended left hand she holds a branch, while her right arm supports a large cornucopiae resting against her shoulder. A rudder rests upon a globe at her side, symbolising the guidance of fate. The senatorial authority mark S C (Senatus Consultum) flanks the figure in the field, and the legend FORTVNAE REDVCI runs around the periphery within a beaded border.
