Reverse description Domitian, as Caesar, depicted in dynamic equestrian pose galloping to the left, seated upon a prancing horse with flowing tail and mane. He is shown in military attire, raising a sceptre in his right hand, with his chlamys billowing behind him in a mark of imperial dignity. The senatorial authorisation monogram S C (Senatus Consultum) is prominently placed in the lower field, divided on either side of the horse's forelegs, within a plain border of beads. The composition conveys martial energy and dynastic prestige befitting a junior prince of the Flavian house.
