The full imperial titulature of Tiberius is arranged in a continuous circular legend running around the periphery, reading from the lower left and encircling the entire field within a beaded border. The legend is sharply struck in an even, upright Latin script, and the broad flat flan typical of Tiberian sestertii provides an ample canvas for both the prominent S C and the surrounding inscription. |
