| 背面描述 | The large senatorial monogram S C (Senatus Consultum) dominates the central field in bold relief, as was standard for Augustan aes coinage issued under senatorial authority. Encircling the central device is the full legend of the moneyer Titus Quinctius Crispinus Sulpicianus, rendered in Latin capitals distributed around the periphery of the flan. The reverse is devoid of subsidiary decorative elements, directing attention entirely to the senatorial authorization mark and the moneyer's titulature. The die work is characteristic of the early Augustan mint at Rome, with the S C rendered in large, deeply cut letters. |
