(Translation: Sabina Augusta, Imperator, HADRIANI Augustus. [Vibia] Sabina, the venerable, [consort] of supreme commander (Imperator) Hadrian, emperor (Augustus).)
Reverse description The goddess Vesta seated left on a high-backed throne, draped in flowing robes with a veil over her head, extending the Palladium — a small armed effigy of Athena — in her right hand, and holding a long vertical sceptre in her left. The figure is rendered with dignified composure, her feet resting on a low footstool. The senatorial authority mark S·C appears in large letters in the lower field beneath the throne.
