The aquila is depicted with spread wings atop its standard shaft. The senatorial authorization marks S and C (Senatus Consultum) appear in the lower field to either side of the prow. The circumscribed legend CONCORDIA EXERCITVVM runs around the upper portion of the field within a beaded border. |
