| Beschrijving keerzijde | A triple-arched triumphal gate (the Porta Triumphalis or the Arch of Nero) depicted in architectural elevation, rendered with considerable detail showing columns, entablature, and a roofline adorned with a row of trophies or flames. Within the central left bay stands a full-length figure of Mars (or a related deity), depicted frontally and holding a spear and shield. The arch's central passage is open. To the left of the structure appears the large letter S and to the right the large letter C, flanking the monument as the senatorial authorization mark S C (Senatus Consultum).
